Tripwire Interactive is looking for a Lead Engineer to come join our team. As an independent studio and publisher, Tripwire develops the games that we want, on our own schedule. Tripwire provides a professional yet non-corporate environment where every team member’s input and collaboration matters. Based in Roswell, GA just north of Atlanta, Tripwire is in the perfect area for those that enjoy sunny weather and a relatively low cost of living.

Responsibilities:

Lead by example; Design, develop, and extend systems in action games using a player-centric focus
Break down requirements into well-defined tasks that are assigned and delivered on time
Find efficient and creative solutions in an existing code base
Analyze and refactor code to optimize performance
Mentor other engineers, providing feedback and career growth
Facilitate team communication and collaboration

Qualifications:

Excellent C++ programming and debugging skills
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Shipped one or more titles in a similar role
Comfortable in a large established codebase
Strong communication and proven ability to work with others to develop and iterate on features
Able to complete complex tasks with minimal supervision
Lead Experience
Experience with the Unreal Engine or Cross Platform (XB1/PS4 preferred)

Road Redemption by EQ Games and Pixel Dash Studios for PC, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X, and Nintendo Switch will be the first game to come from the new publishing arm in Fall 2018 and Maneater for PC will be coming in 2019. Tripwire also recently announced a partnership with Digital Lode to bring Espire 1: VR Operative to VR platforms in 2019.
